OVERVIEW
The National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR) hosts an annual Power to Inspire fundraising event to celebrate NCCHR’s work and honoring changemakers in the progress of civil rights history. The 11th annual (2025) Power to Inspire event recognized the contributions former mayor of Atlanta, The Honorable Shirley Franklin, made to the city, the community’s youth, and the foundations of NCCHR.
I developed concepts for the visual branding and supporting collateral that included invitations, event signage, social media ads, print & digital programs, billboards, website messaging, presentation slides, lapel pins, video production, and a mini-exhibit. I also coordinated with vendors for production of all print deliverables.

IMPACT
The 11th annual Power to Inspire raised $1.49M, exceeding the fundraising goal of $1.3M by 15%. More than 600 supporters, corporate executives, former staff members, and civic leaders attended the evening honoring The Honorable Shirley Franklin.
The multichannel campaign creative delivered a cohesive brand experience that carried the event from first touchpoint to final moment. The email invitation campaign achieved a 15.08% open rate.
